Guide to uninstalling radeon drivers in windows 2000 and xp 1. Go into the Control Panel and under the ADD/REMOVE SOFTWARE icon uninstall the ATI MultiMedia software and/or the ATI DVD software.

There are a number of applications that are installed with XP but do not appear in ADD/REMOVE, so it would appear that they cannot be uninstalled (MSN Explorer is one notable example).

With certain pop-up stoppers, my pop-ups stop, but are replaced with script errors.  This is almost just as annoying.  Here is how you can get rid of most of those script errors:

to uninstall things like msn messenger and other hidden installs thru add remove programs, do this:

Put a floopy disk in your floopy drive. One you have done this, Go to My computer, and right click on A:/. Click on format, and then at the bottom, clikc Make Boot Disk. Click Format.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del multiple times... then the classic login box will appear.

How to get "My Briefcase" in windows xp Click Start, click Run, type in syncapp and click OK.

By default Windows will run the Desktop Cleanup Wizard every 60 days to remove unused desktop items and shortcuts. This setting will disable it from running automatically.
