Windows XP Tweaks

I use ghost to backup my windows partition. To make the backup smaller you can remove the hiberfil.sys (for hibernating) and pagefile.sys (extra ram) from your partition before you make the ghost.

This tweak works also if your Using Zone Alarm or Zone Alarm Pro V.3.7. I found out by applying this tweak for Nortons with my Zone Alarm program.

When you load up Nero, it may be slow "Scaning SCSI/IDE-Bus Pleast Wait..." Because XP also uses the CD-RW Drive.

To disconnect a call via a shortcut, create a shortcut with the following int the 'Target' field:

I ran into this problem in both WindowsME and XP. While in multiplayer mode in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, I would get excessive page file activity which would get progressively worse.
