T-Mobile’s unlimited $5.99 mobile web not unlimited?

Wireless carriers in the US have a great habit of stating the term "unlimited" in marketing materials only to renege on that message later on. T-Mobile USA's reference to an "T-MobileWeb unlimited for $5.99" would make one think that accessing the web from a T-Mobile phone would be $5.99 (per month) for unlimited usage.

HP crushes dreams, offers no WM6 upgrades

The former Windows Mobile heavyweight champ (sorry, HP, but we're pretty sure that title belongs to some friends of yours now) has made the unfortunate — though not altogether unexpected — announcement this week that it will not be providing Windows Mobile 6 upgrades to its existing line of Windows Mobile 5-based devices.

Sprint’s PPC-6800 dubbed the Mogul?

It's bad enough that nearly every HTC handset that makes its way into a carrier's lineup inevitably gets rebadged and renamed, but this one's sure to make you scratch your head. Just hours after hearing that the handset is likely to miss its May launch by a few months, we've now caught wind of an interesting teaser site that leaves little doubt about what phone is behind the silhouette.

Sony Ericsson P1 gets reviewed

Well, that didn't take long; GSM Arena has already had the opportunity to put the just-announced Sony Ericsson P1 — or a preproduction version of it, anyway — through a thorough battery of tests. The good news is that they appear to have concluded that it's the best Sony Ericsson (and likely the best UIQ) smartphone to date, but the very (very) bad news is that the QWERTY keyboard is described as "half-QWERTY, half-TORTURE."
