On the same day that the news breaks that eBay is acquiring StumbleUpon for $40ish million, Google announces that they are building strikingly similar functionality into their Toolbar. Google (along with AOL) were reportedly in the running to acquire StumbleUpon until very recently.

David planned an extravagant 33rd birthday celebration for Victoria last night including a dinner at Guy Savoy. He ended up spending over $80,000 on his perfectly planned day of events. First he surprised her with a suitcase full of new clothes and then he whisked her off to Paris on a private jet. Once there he took her to private shopping sessions at Christian Louboutin and Azzedine Alaia and then finished off the night at the Paris Ritz! OMG, is he for real? Beckham is even dreamier than we ever could have imagined.
