Verizon rolls out LG VX9400, second VCAST TV phone

vx9400-official.jpg

Sure, Samsung's u620 was the first on the scene when Verizon's MediaFLO-based VCAST TV service launched earlier this month, but the fashionably late VX9400 from LG seems to be the real prize. At least that's the impression we got when we had the opportunity to mess around with both side by side at CES in January, and starting today, Verizon customers can start buying and critiquing VX9400s of their very own (in VCAST TV markets, anyway).

Motorola A1200/MING Linux-based smartphone

504_master-black-fn185k-50m.jpg

We first caught a glimpse of the Motorola A1200 back in December. It has since been rebadged the MING which apparently means something like "open" in Chinese or "nasty" if you happen to be mingin' in the UK — guess that's why this pup is heading to the greater China market first, eh? In a schizophrenic fit, Moto claims to be targeting business users with this device yet lists it under the "entertainment series" of handsets on their .hk site.

Black Motorola KRZR K1m comes to Telus

motorolakrzrblackeu9.jpg

Looks like Canada's Telus Mobility got hooked up with the Motorola KRZR K1m in yet another shade — this time, black. We've been waiting for a while to see when new K1m colors would start showing up, and here's a pretty decent first stab at black we think (or second stab, if you count Sprint's). Anything new besides the color here? Very doubtful.

Sometimes Chinese knockoffs look great than the original ones. Similar is the case of the latest Apple iPhone & Meizu’s M8.

I would rather term it as an unnecessary feature but a unique one, Samsung unveils a digital camera which has a 180o rotating screen.

Hasee intros low-cost F200D all-in-one PC

hasee-f200d.jpg

Chinese computer manufacturer Hasee looks to be bringing some relatively low-cost all-in-one PC action to its home country, recently announcing its F200D model, which just manages to squeeze under 3,000 yuan mark (about $388). Of course, that much yuan only goes so far, netting you only a 15.4-inch widescreen display,
