Not caring about the price .. an alternative to the “moron” theory, said person has so much money he bought it just to show off how little he cares. Not being rich I would argue against the “intelligence” of this .. but that is a biased point of view. Still a far cry from the “its an honest mistake” argument however.

To top that off .. you would think that one would be “of sharper mind” when spending their hard earned money. Everybody has off-days when we make mistakes but we usually know how to prioritise when we do and dont care, and subsequently we pay more attention when it matters and less when it doesnt.

@WoWJala True .. however, and I’m making an assumption here since I don’t own an iPhone/use iStore, one would think that they would have to make this mistake at least twice in order to actually buy the game. There would be the mistake of seeing it in a list of games for that price as well as the confirmation screen of actually buying it. It’s also common to see a receipt/statement of your purchase before actually hitting the buy button.

I disagree with you here …

I think his conclusion is quite accurate. He’s saying that iPhone is only there to exploit idiot consumers, and is not actually a solid gaming platform.

You would have to be pretty stupid to mistake $299 for $2.99, thus proving that there are some pretty dumb people who own an iPhone.

Thats not to mention that he had something < $15, and the more he raised the price, the more people bought it.
