Although overall I am happy with this phone, from the start, the battery has lasted less time than I expected. After 18 months the battery life was dropping off and I bought a new battery from a unknown source. This did not really work properly from the start. The supplier replaced it but even the replacement never performed to my satisfaction. I then ordered one from Amazon (after reading the first reviewer) expecting to be disappointed again. This battery has performed OK. It put me back to re-charging every 2 days, the same as when the phone was new, which I am happy with.

I ordered the BX40 battery for my mobile phone as the old battery would run out very quickly. The new battery I ordered was even worse and literally lasted a couple of hours! Not a good product at all.

Although this battery was exactly what I asked for it doesn’t seem to hold a charge for as long as the battery which came with the phone.

This was not a Motorola product (no logo nor hologram). When inserted the phone shows ‘no battery’, when the charging lead is removed the phone switches itself off, all in all a waste of time and money.
