It’s not like Hot Topic saying “Dont take a picture of that shirt, because we’d get sued.” There’s tons of fake “shoppers” who are just reporters to bigger businesses about what they can do to steal ideas. Still,it’s not just cause for kicking someone out in your case, but It is just cause for kicking someone out, if someone is insulting your place of employment. Who wants a reminder of how lame there job can be, and get a verbal slap in the face? Yep, and I’m a manager of a Hot Topic

@TUATC18 Wouldn’t it just be easier for the counterfeiters to pay 20$ for the actual shirt then copy it rather than pay someone with a fancy hi-res camera to go in and take a picture of it? In that case…how do you avoid /that/??? O_o

I work at THAT Hottopic and i know why we have a camera policy…..cuz our boss doesnt want the hottopic logos and stuff printed onto other shirts or sold to other countries so they can make counterfit shirts and sell em for more :) if you guys go back one day ill let you take all the pics yall want

The reason why the HT employees told you that is because they don’t want someone taking a picture of the shirt and then trying to get it printed on another shirt. And those pants are late 80s early 90s :)

@sweetoblivion6 Haha. Too many annoying teeny boppers could definitely give you a bad mood. Best time was someone was doing a treasure hunt thing where you have to find certain items and I was wearing flannel that day – one of the items. So the person took my picture. Hahahah. I just let her go at it cause our mall was deaddddddd.

@mrtimmerz23 yeah we do the same thing =0 We’ve never kicked anyone out for it though. Someone must have been in a bad mood.

Haha. I work at a Hot Topic (not that one) and we just have a no camera policy no matter what. I don’t think you should get kicked out though, that was mad harsh! =(
