Chrome actually is great for security compared to Firefox, IE, Safari, Flock & Opera. I did a similar test with all of the browsers above on a site that I once caught a trojan from and only Chrome was the one to show me any warning that the site contained malicious content. Chrome is not Anti-Virus software though when it comes to browser security it is the best. the Auto-block is right to be there especially if you’re not well up on the dangers of random web browsing
