    I did the exact same thing, Did not upgrade my 3g to 3gs, because I think the iphone 4g will be worth the upgrade alot more.

    You have no idea what you are talking about do you. The apple computers are what all major company ALL film editors and producers use. PC’s are awful. if you knew anything about computers and the way they work you would not say anything. go back to your pc world

    what a joke. The ipod and iphone are not popular because they have an apple on them. Apple is popular because of the iphone and ipod. It’s obvious. Apple wasnt the ‘trendy’ company that it is today until the success off the ipod and iphone. That isnt opinion, it’s fact. The iphone is a ‘gateway’ drug for apple. They start with it and end up with a mac.

    its their technology they invented it why wouldnt they be able to patent it. besides its not that no other phone can use it, they can its just that every phone that uses MULTI touch just have to pay apple ALOT of money

    You really think the iPhone is popular because of who makes it? By that reasoning everything Apple makes would be a runaway success. They didnt invent the phone, anymore than Henry Ford invented the automobile or Sony the Home Video Game console. These companies made products however, that have become ubiquitous within their markets because they made a product popular with consumers providing features consumers wanted, in some cases doing so very differently than others.

    Apple did not revolutionize the smartphone market. They were not (even though Steve Jobs thinks they are) the first company to make a full-size touchscreen smartphone (ie HTC Wallaby, launched 3 years before iPhone. Also, Apple (who are really convinced they invented everything) are trying to stop Google and Palm making multitouch phones. Yes, the iPhone is popular. Just only because it has a picture of a fruit on it.

    Next yr is the iPhone redesign . We will see something sick. They didn’t do anything for 3gs to get more market share and catch up to all standard features now they can start innovating again
